Privacy Policy

The short version: your food diary and conversations with the coach stay on your iPhone. Meal photos are processed on-device and discarded right after, never stored anywhere, not even on your phone. Luxe Security Inc, the maker of Savor AI, does not operate a server that receives any of it.

What stays on your device

Savor AI's AI model runs on your iPhone. When you photograph a meal, the photo is processed entirely on your iPhone to identify the food and estimate portions, then discarded once that's done. It is never uploaded anywhere and is not kept, not even in the app's own storage. When you talk to the on-device coach, that conversation is processed locally too and is not uploaded anywhere. Your meals, weight entries, water intake, and chat history are stored in the app's local database on your device.

What syncs, and where

If you have iCloud enabled on your phone, Savor AI can back up and sync your data through Apple's iCloud (CloudKit), using your own private iCloud account. That data is encrypted and controlled by you through your Apple ID, the same way Photos or Notes sync. Luxe Security Inc does not have a copy of it and cannot access it.

Apple Health

With your permission, Savor AI reads workouts, steps, and weight from Apple Health to show them in the app, and can write meals, water, and weight back to Health so your other health apps stay in sync. This exchange happens on your device through Apple's HealthKit framework. You can review or revoke access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health.

Optional online lookups

Savor AI ships with an offline food database and does not need the internet to scan or log a meal. If you turn on "online lookup" in Settings, and only then, a food name or a scanned barcode is sent to public nutrition databases (USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts) to fill in items the offline database doesn't have. Only the food name or barcode is sent, never a photo, your identity, or anything else about you. This setting is off by default.

Downloading the AI model

On first launch, Savor AI downloads its on-device AI model file from our content delivery network so it can run locally afterward. This is a one-time file download; it does not send any of your data.

What we don't do

• No account or sign-up, so there's no profile of you on a server to begin with.
• No advertising and no ad tracking.
• No analytics or crash-reporting SDKs bundled in the app.
• We never sell or share your data. There is no data to sell.

Children's privacy

Savor AI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
